After enjoying the 2,660 square foot custom home we built for our clients, they asked us to build an addition for their expanding family. The first floor of this 821 square foot two-story addition consisted of enlarging the kitchen to include a large center island, a built-in buffet, a wine bar, a breakfast room and play area for the children. The large laundry room featured an ample granite countertop and cabinets, closet storage and an area for a freezer, washer and dryer and laundry sink. There was even a special room created for their cats featuring climbing and sleeping shelves on the walls for their pampered pets. The already oversized garage was expanded to include a workshop. The upstairs guest bedroom suite was created for those extended family visits. It featured a coffee bar, private bathroom, and walk-in closet with built-in chest of drawers cabinets, and a private balcony. The two other new bedrooms enjoyed walk-in closets and a Jack-n-Jill bathroom. On the outside we added a cedar privacy fence around the rear of the property, a concrete off-road parking area at the street, a cedar gazebo and built-in barbeque area.
